Gerade im Amt veröffentlichte die Biden-Administration gleich eine Provisorische Nationale Sicherheitsstrategie, die aber, wenig überraschend nach den bisherigen Statements, vor allem die Konkurrenz mit China (und Russland) betont: „We face a world of rising nationalism, receding democracy, growing rivalry with China, Russia, and other authoritarian states, and a technological revolution that is reshaping every aspect of our lives. […] Taken together, this agenda will strengthen our enduring advantages, and allow us to prevail in strategic competition with China or any other nation.” (jw)
