Da gehen sie womöglich dahin, all die großspurigen Pläne eines (militärischen) Global Britain, das von Nostalgikern des British Empire als neues Projekt nach dem Brexit vorangetrieben wurde. Laut Times steht die britische Armee vor drastischen Kürzungen: „Defence chiefs have drawn up plans to slash the army by a quarter and reduce the Royal Marines to a bit part as part of Boris Johnson’s defence and security review.
