Die niederländische Friedensorganisation PAX hat den Bericht „Slippery Slope – The arms industry and increasingly autonomous weapons“ veröffentlicht. Er kommt zu dem Besorgnis erregenden Ergebnis, dass es aufgrund der gemachten „Fortschritte“ der letzten Jahre kein großer Schritt mehr zu vollautonomen Waffensystemen ist: „As part of an imminent arms race to develop increasingly autonomous weapons, states rely on and involve arms producers to contribute to the development of such weapons. These technologies are applied by a growing number of companies in a growing number of countries. […] This raises serious questions of how human control is guaranteed over these weapon systems.“ (jw)
