Korea: Informationskriegsvisionen

Ein Kolumnist des Boston Globe träumt davon, einen Krieg gegen Nordkorea abwenden zu können, indem dort per Informationskrieg ein Regimewechsel durchgeführt werden sollte: „That does not mean going to war. It does mean working to induce North Korea’s military and political elites to depose the dictator. It means circumventing the information blackout Pyongyang imposes within its borders, and flooding North Koreans with accurate information about the crimes of their rulers — and encouraging them to rise up in their own liberation.“

Außerdem sollte – offenbar nach dem Vorbild Libyens und Syriens – eine Exilregierung aufgebaut und von der USA anerkannt werden. Wenn alles nur so einfach und harmlos wäre, wie in den Köpfen von Kolumnisten…
