Just wenn man denkt, es kann einen nichts mehr bezüglich der Ukraine aus den Socken hauen, meldet das Centre fort he Research on Globalisation (CRG), die USA würden darauf drängen, dass Präsident Petro Poroschenko den Friedensnobelpreis erhält. Dies gehe aus einem an die Öffentlichkeit gelangten Brief des Vorsitzenden des ukrainischen Parlaments, Vladimir Groysman, an die US-Botschaft in Oslo hervor, der beim CRG online gestellt wurde. In dem Schreiben, das auf den 19. Mai 2015 datiert ist, bedankt er sich für die US-Bemühungen in dieser Angelegenheit, betont ihre große Bedeutung und gibt zu bedenken, dass erst zwei der fünf Komiteemitglieder „im Sack“ seien – auch Deutschland scheint in den Vorgang involviert zu sein: “We expect further efforts aimed at shifting the position of Berit Reiss-Andersen, Inger-Marie Ytterhorn and especially that of the Chair of the Nobel Committee Kaci Kullman Five. Regarding the latter, we recommend that you take advantage of the information you are going to receive from Germany.
